As we are advancing to the world of technological revolution, the term 3D is no more alien to us. The D in the 3D stands for dimensional, as in computers, it defines the perception of depth, a technique used to make images more interactive. The 3D printing is also known as Additive Manufacturing, in which a successive layer of materials through digital model builds the object. Each of the layers can be seen as thin lines of horizontal cross sections which are done through a digital process which eventually creates the object. So how does the technology help?
A conceptual 3D image leaves less to imagination and provides a close representation of the product. The virtual prototype is life-like and thus makes the users capable to verify design and mitigate risk.
